International Gathering of Self-Advocates
Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, November 17 – 18, 2008
People First of Canada and Inclusion International will host a two-day international gathering of self-advocates. Self-advocates from around the world will share experiences and information from their own countries, review the UN Convention, identify common issues and look at ways to strengthen a global self-advocacy movement. Participating self-advocates will have an opportunity to connect through an on-line dialogue in advance of the meeting in Ottawa.
